Sinopsis
Años treinta. James Cagney es un editor americano que trabaja en un periódico de Tokio y descubre un plan japonés para conquistar el mundo. Cuando la noticia llega a los quioscos, las autoridades japonesas exigen que se retire el periódico de la calle. Cagney no accede; está, además, decidido a desvelar todo el asunto, sobre todo, cuando se entera de que su confidente y amigo ha sido asesinado al intentar abandonar el país con su esposa.
