Sinopsis
Tim Grayson está prometido con Elvira, hija del dueño de un plantación. En la fiesta de compromiso es retado a duelo por el Mayor Patterson, a lo cual se niega y es expulsado del círculo social en que se encuentra por violar el código de honor. Empieza entonces a cantar el River Queen, una barco de espectáculos y juegos capitaneado por el Comodoro Jackson, nada menos que W. C. Fields.
