He revisado los subtítulos que extrajo Takeshi_Shimura de la edición de Suevia, realizando un amplio reajuste de líneas para corregir los tiempos demasiado cortos. También he retocado los ingleses de bzoler (post-OCR, tiempos demasiado cortos).

P.D.: Me gustaría subir este ripeo (y algunos otros) a Karagarga, porque es una web que considero que me aporta bastante y, por lo tanto, también me gusta "colaborar" con la misma. Una vez más, la falta de tiempo hace que eso sea difícil. Si alguien lo hace por mí quedaría agradecido.

Cry of the City (1948)

Una Vida Marcada – de nuevo es de lamentar que no se restringieran al más significativo título original, “El Llanto de la Ciudad” – fue una de sus obras más celebradas, narrando la historia de un joven criminal, Martin Rome, quien está hospitalizado por un tiroteo en que mató a un policía. Cuando descubre mediante un abogado sin escrúpulos que se les pretende implicar a él y su novia en otro crimen, decide escaparse para ponerla a ella a salvo y, de paso, huir juntos a otro país. Les seguirá el rastro de cerca el Teniente Candella, criado en el mismo barrio que Martin pero que acabó situándose al lado de la ley.
