The Sex Pistols - There'll Always Be an England - Live from Brixton Academy (2011) BD50
---------------------------------------------------------------------
30 years since the ground-breaking Never Mind The Bollocks album, this show, recorded live at The Brixton Academy in November 2007 and filmed by Julien Temple, features the legendary Sex Pistols playing the greatest songs. Special features - A unique guide to London by the Pistols.

The disc shows a live concert of the Sex Pistols at the Brixton Academy on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of "Never Mind the Bollock, Here's the Sex Pistols" album in November 2007. It was recorded under the direction of no less than Julien Temples, With whom the band always did well and who had previously filmed "The Great Rock'n'Roll Swindle" and "The Filth and the Fury". Temple succeeded in capturing the tense atmosphere before the beginning of the concert. When "There'll Always Be to England" as an intro from the band, the audience is already singing loudly. Temples cameras capture fantastic audience pictures, detail recordings of many individuals in the large mass, and as a spectator one understands how indispensable the audience is for a live concert like this is what weighty role it occupies. The not-so-young band delivers an impeccable performance, seems to be top-notch and Johnny Rotten surprised with high notes and vibrato in the voice. Mandatory is his no less entertaining humorous humor, which runs through the gig. It seems as if almost everyone, through the subcultures, has attended this concert; An indicator of the massive influence and inspiration of this band. The Blu-ray and the DVD are warmly recommended to anyone who has a good, officially high-quality, "high-gloss" recording of the Sex Pistols and is willing to make the stage unsafe even in the middle age Rotten in the bonus material still gloriously lobes through London.
